Anyone can make this easy eggless moist chocolate cake π One bowl chocolate cake recipe that is quick, easy, and delicious. Any non baker can make this no fail cake, so start baking for your loved ones π Also, the best part this cake is eggless and butter less.
I am not a chocolate cake lover but this cake turned me into one. I am more into white cakes (cheese cake, vanilla, fruit, butterscotch). But I almost ate 3/4th of this cake π (Yes food blogging makes you fat π ). In short, this cake is for all chocolate cake haters π .
This recipe is made of simple ingredients all purpose flour (maida), unsweetened cocoa powder, oil, milk, yoghurt (curd) and no eggs. You can adjust sugar according to your liking.

NO FAIL EGGLESS STRAWBERRY CAKE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup maida / all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar (granulated)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup yoghurt /curd
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
- 1/4 cup oil
- 5 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup warm water
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven at 350F /180C. Grease the cake pan and place a baking paper at the bottom of the cake pan. I usually do not put a paper but some how my chocolate cake breaks or sticks at the bottom, putting paper makes it easy to remove.
- Mix instant coffee powder in 1/4 cup of warm water.
- In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and mix well.
- Now add all the wet ingredients oil, milk, yoghurt (curd) and coffee water.
- Fold everything together, and whisk well to make the batter lump free.
- Pour the batter in the pre greased cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle of the cake.
- Eggless chocolate cake is ready, top it with any icing of choice or just sprinkle some cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
NOTES
- I used canola oil, you can use any vegetable oil.
- You can add 1 tsp of vanilla extract for flavour.
- I used bru instant coffee powder.
- Adjust sugar according to liking.
