Easy Eggless Rose Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour/ maida
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup curd
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon thandai paste or powder (home made or readymade).
  • 1 tablespoon cashews or pistachios chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

PREPARATION

  • Preheat oven at 350 degree F. Grease and dust cake pan and keep it aside.
  • In a mixing bowl mix curd, oil, milk, sweetened thandai paste or powder, cardomon powder, baking soda, baking powder and sugar powder.
  • Add 1/2 tablespoon each of nuts and dried rose petal in the curd mixture.
  • Mix the curd mixture with 1 and a half cup of all purpose flour.
  • Fold everything together. Now pour the batter into pre greased and dusted cake pan.
  • Top with few nuts and petals.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for 10-20 minutes garnish with powdered sugar.
