INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup ragi flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 11/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup powdered jaggery / cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Dry fruit for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Healthy Eggless Ragi Chocolate Loaf

PREPARATION

  • Sift flours, cocoa, salt, baking powder and baking soda together.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix oil, powdered jaggery, milk, yoghurt, vanilla extract and water.
  • Add the dry ingredients to this mixture and mix well into smooth batter.
  • Grease and dust a baking pan, pour the batter in it. Garnish with dry fruits.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clear.
  • Let it cool. Slice and serve.
