INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup lauki/ bottle gourd
• 1 cup full fat milk
• 2 table spoon ghee
• Pinch of cardamom
• 4 tablespoon sugar
• Dry fruits

PREPARATION

• Peel and grate lauki / bottle gourd.
• In a thick bottom pan, heat ghee and add grated lauki and saute until all the water is absorbed.
• Once all the water is gone, add 1 cup full fat milk and cook at medium low flame. Stir often and cook until it becomes thick.
• Add sugar, cardamom and dry fruits. Continue cooking on low flame until ghee leaves from the sides.
• Lauki halwa is ready. Garnish with dry fruits and serve hot.
