INGREDIENTS
- 4-5 medium potatoes boiled
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoon green coriander leaf
- 1 teaspoon jeera/cumin
- Pinch of hing / asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon ajwain
- 1 teaspoon sauf
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2-3 green chilly chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 dry red chilly

PREPARATIONS
- Peel boiled potatoes and cut into rough cubes.
- In a pan heat oil, now crackle jeera, ajwain, sauf, sesame seeds, red dried chilly and a pinch of asafoetida/hing.
- Now add green chilly and onion, fry until golden brown.
- Add turmeric and garlic powder and mix well.
- Finally add potato and mix well. Add salt, squeeze and coriander leaf.
- Serve aloo jeera hot with chapati or dosa.
