7 Skills Kids Need To Be Ready For Kindergarten

As a parent we are always in hurry to dress up our kids as fast as possible, so that we can get out of the house and reach our destination on time. By not letting them to dress up or zip up their own jackets just to avoid wasting time, we are making them more slow and dependent on us. Also, it may make them feel that their parents will always be there to help them out, which is not true once the school life starts. Once they see their peers dressing up themselves and zipping up their jacket on their own, they might feel shy to ask for help and also this may lower their self-confidence. Most of the parents start thinking about kindergarten readiness only when they start filling the school admission forms or when it is time to drop their kids on the first day of school, as you can guess by then it is too late. What is kindergarten readiness? Kindergarten readiness is nothing academics but basic skills that make children more confident and independent, so that they can enjoy their school life.
