Must Have Montessori Style Toys For Toddlers

Wooden Toys From Ikea For Toddler Home Schooling by sinscollection

Introducing Solid Food To Babies- 4 Indian Porridges

After watching the Netflix documentary about the dark side of Ikea, I was a little surprised and shocked. But it does not change how much we love these wooden toys from Ikea. We bought these toys mostly when A was 6 months -1 year old. Though they are aimed for 3+ age group (mostly all toys and kids books are marked as age 3+). A is 2.5 year old now we are still enjoying these toys, so I think they were worth it and also not that expensive.

Ikea is not 100% earth friendly or non-toxic. The Swedish giant has phased out PVC from all of their toys, but don’t offer a lot of info on the paints or glues used. Many of Ikea’s toys are made in China, although some are made in Sweden. The plastics in Ikea’s toys conform to EU laws, but Ikea does use some synthetic rubber and some lower-formaldehyde particle board.

Why I love Ikea Wooden Toys?

  • Sturdy and well built.
  • Bright and colourful.
  • Great price.
  • Durable
