- 2 cups all purpose flour or maida
- 1 cup salt
- 3/4 -1 cup water (warm)
- Mod podge (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl mix flour, salt and warm water. Knead well for 10 minutes.
- If dough is too dry add a little water.
- With the help of a rolling pin, roll the dough into desired thickness.
- Now with the help of large cookie cutter or jar cap, cut into the desired shape (round, heart etc).
- Now place your child’s hand into the salt ornament.
- Make a hole with the help of a straw.
- Bake for 1-2 hour at 250 degree F. If the ornament is still soft bake for another hour.
- Once cool, paint and decorate as you wish with glitter, glue etc.
- Finish with mod podge (optional).
