Healthy And Vegan Kidney Beans Burger Patties – Rajma Cutlet

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup kidney bean boiled (Rajma boiled)
  • 2 potatoes boiled ( aloo boiled)
  • 3 tablespoon all purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chat masala (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Bread crumps as required
  • Oil to shallow fry
  • Salt to taste

Main Ingredients for rajma (kidney bean) cutlet

PREPARATION

  1. Mash boiled kidney beans and boiled potatoes.
  2. Add salt, garam masala, chat masala, chilly powder to the mashed mixture and mix well.
  3. Make small patties or cutlet shape (Tikki).
  4. Mix 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour with enough water to make a thick paste.
  5. Dip each cutlet in the flour paste and coat them with bread crumbs.
  6. Refrigerate cutlets for 30 minute before frying.
  7. Shallow fry cutlets in any oil. Each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
