INGREDIENTS

  • 2 plantains (green banana or vazhakya)
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION

  • Preheat oven for 400 degree F.
  • Peel plantain and cut into two pieces. Now cut it into long thin sticks.
  • Marinate with coconut oil, chilly powder and salt.
  • Arrange fries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10 minutes each side or until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
