INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup kidney bean boiled (Rajma boiled)
- 2 potatoes boiled ( aloo boiled)
- 3 tablespoon all purpose flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chat masala (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Bread crumps as required
- Oil to shallow fry
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION
- Mash boiled kidney beans and boiled potatoes.
- Add salt, garam masala, chat masala, chilly powder to the mashed mixture and mix well.
- Make small patties or cutlet shape (Tikki).
- Mix 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour with enough water to make a thick paste.
- Dip each cutlet in the flour paste and coat them with bread crumbs.
- Refrigerate cutlets for 30 minute before frying.
- Shallow fry cutlets in any oil. Each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
NOTES
- This measurement is for ten patties/cutlet.
- Can be eaten as it is or make burgers.
- Bread crumps can be made at home.
