INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup peanut
- 1/4 cup dry fruits mix
- 1 green chilly chopped
- 1 spring of curry leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilly powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 3 tablespoon oil
PREPARATION
- To make oats chivda, dry roast oats for few minutes or until crispy and light brown. Keep it aside.
- In a pan heat 2 tablespoon of oil and roast peanuts, cashew nuts and almonds. Keep them aside.
- In the same pan add one tablespoon of oil and splutter mustard seeds. Now add chopped green chilly and curry leaves.
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, sugar and salt. Now add all the roasted items ( oats, peanuts, dry fruits). Mix everything together with lemon juice and roast for 2 more minutes.
- Oats chivda is ready.
