INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups full fat milk
- 2 tablespoon basmati rice
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon rose syrup or rooh afza
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash and soak 2 tablespoon of basmati rice in some water for half an hour.
- Drain the water, and dry the rice on a cloth or paper towel. Grind the rice into semolina or sooji consistency.
- In a thick bottom pan, boil 3 cups of full fat milk.
- Once the milk starts boiling, add the ground rice.
- Stir until the rice is soft. Now add sugar and cook on low flame.
- Keep scraping the side and cook for 10 more minutes or until the milk is thick.
- Off the flame and add rose syrup or rooh afza.
- Garnish with dry fruits and serve hot or chilled.
