INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour or all purpose flour (maida) or 1:1
  • 3/4 cup butter milk (Substitute for buttermilk – add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar with one cup of milk)
  • 1-2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • Small pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

PREPARATION

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and make a smooth batter of dosa batter consistency. Adjust the consistency with milk.
  • Fill the batter in a squeeze bottle.
  • Heat a non stick pan and pour coin size batter to make 10-15 mini pancakes at a time.
  • Cook on medium flame, until both the sides are golden brown.
  • Serve hot with maple syrup or honey.
