Curd Oats – Quick And Healthy Summer Breakfast

Siniscollection curd oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup curd/ plain yoghurt
  • 1/2 mini cucumber grated (optional)
  • 1/2 carrot grated (optional)
  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon urad dal/ split gram (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION

  • To make curd oats cook half cup of quick oats with required amount of water.
  • If using Microwave, cook 1/2 cup of oats with 3/4 or 1 cup of water for 2 minutes.
  • Now take one cup of curd and add grated veggies and salt to it.
  • For tempering, take a pan and heat one tablespoon of oil and splutter mustard, cumin and urad dal.
  • Now add chopped green chilly, ginger and curry leaves.
  • Finally mix everything together (cooked oats, curd with grated veggies and tempering).
  • Curd oats is ready to eat. Garnish with dry fruits (optional).
