Healthy Spinach Apple Salad For Weight Watchers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup baby spinach (palak)
  • 1/2 cup apple chopped
  • 1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubbed
  • Hand full of cashew nuts and almonds
  • 1tbs curd (yoghurt)
  • 2tbs vinegar
  • 2tbs honey
  • 1tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 red chilly powder
  • Salt to taste

Ingredients for spinach apple salad.

PREPARATION

  • Wash and pat dry baby spinach.
  • Marinate paneer (cottage cheese) cubes with curd, salt and red chilly powder.
  • Shallow fry paneer in any oil of choice. Two minutes both the sides or until golden brown.
  • In a small bowl mix oil, honey, vinegar, salt and pepper for dressing.
  • In a salad bowl add spinach, chopped apples, fried paneer cubes, chopped dry fruits. Add the dressing and mix well. Spinach apple salad is ready.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Add the dressing and mix well. Spinach apple salad is ready to serve.

NOTES

  • If making before hand add dressing before serving.
  • Can substitute vinegar with lemon juice.
  • Can substitute olive oil with any oil.
