Homemade Blueberry Jelly

Ingredients

  • 500 grams blueberry washed and drained
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3.5 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup pectin

Preparation

  • Combine blueberries and water in a saucepan, bring it to boil and cook until tender.
  • Strain through cheesecloth.
  • Place the juice in the saucepan and bring it to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar and lemon juice, stir and dissolve over high flame.
  • Now add pectin all at once and boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat, skim off foam and pour in a sterilized jar.
