Easy To Make Eggless Hersheys Easter Egg Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of maida or all purpose flour
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup canola oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 loosely packed grated carrot

Instructions

  • In a bowl take dahi(yogurt), sugar, oil and vanilla extract. With the help of a whisk mix everything well till the sugar melts.
  • Now add maida (all purpose flour), baking soda and baking powder to the sugar mixture.
  • Fold (mix) the batter well. Add grated carrot and fold/mix again.
  • If the batter is very thick you can add 2-3 tablespoon of water and fold well.
  • Preheat oven at 350F.
  • Line the bottom of a loaf pan or cake tin with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter and tap it on the counter for 2-3 times.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350F. Baking time depends on your oven, bake until a toothpick come clear from the centre of a cake.
  • Let the cake cool at room temperature. Decorate it with icing and Hershey’s Easter Egg as you wish and enjoy.
