INGREDIENTS

  • 20 seedless dates
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds (Til)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamon powder

PREPARATION

  • Chop dates and nuts into small pieces. Alternatively you can blend in blender.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Add chopped dates, nuts, sesame seeds and cardamon powder.
  • Fry for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is soft. Off the flame.
  • Make small bite size balls.
  • Can roll in sesame seeds (Til )or poppy seeds ( khus khus) for garnishing.
  • Dates energy bites are ready.

  • You can also add raisins and pistachio.
  • Store in airtight container.
  • I used roasted nuts .
