INGREDIENTS
- 20 seedless dates
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds (Til)
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamon powder
PREPARATION
- Chop dates and nuts into small pieces. Alternatively you can blend in blender.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. Add chopped dates, nuts, sesame seeds and cardamon powder.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is soft. Off the flame.
- Make small bite size balls.
- Can roll in sesame seeds (Til )or poppy seeds ( khus khus) for garnishing.
- Dates energy bites are ready.
NOTES
- You can also add raisins and pistachio.
- Store in airtight container.
- I used roasted nuts .
