INGREDIENTS

  • 1 + 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup maida (all purpose flour) or whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • Small pinch of salt
  • 1/2 brown sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ghee or butter

PREPARATION

  • Preheat oven at 350F or 180C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and keep it aside.
  • Take oats, flour, small pinch of salt and baking soda in a bowl. Mix well and keep it aside.
  • Melt butter or ghee. In a bowl, mix melted ghee, sugar and milk into a smooth mixture.
  • Now add the oats mixture and raisins to the wet mixture.
  • Mix well with a spoon or hand. Form a dough.
  • Make 10-12 small bite size ball. Press a little within the middle with palm or fork.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let it cool. Store in airtight container.
