Easy Crispy Cabbage Carrot Fritters
Easy crispy cabbage carrot fritters for tea time snack or appetizer. Made with cabbage, carrot and onions tastes best when served hot with sauce or chutney.

- 1/2 cabbage head grated
- 1/4 cup carrot grated
- 1/2 cup onion sliced
- 2 green chilly chopped
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup maida all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds optional
- Oil for shallow frying
- 3 tablespoon coriander leaf chopped
In a bowl take grated cabbage, onion, carrot, green chilly, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder, mix well and keep it aside for 20 minutes, so that it is soft and mushy.
After 20 minutes, add all purpose flour, corn flour, rice flour and mix well with hands. No need to add water, just squeeze the veggies with finger tips to release water to form a dough.
Divide into small ball and form cutlet shape.
Heat few tablespoons of oil in a shallow pan. Fry the fritters until golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
