Easy Soft And Delicious Sweet Potato Paratha

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big sweet potato boiled
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon carom seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chilly powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon hing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon amchur powder Dry mango powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon ghee for dough plus extra for making roti optional
  • One and half cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaf chopped
  • 1 green chilly chopped

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl take boiled and peeled sweet potato and mash it well with the help of a fork.
  • Add all the spices, cumin seeds, carom seeds, chopped green chilly and coriander leaf to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Finally, add whole wheat flour, salt to taste and 1 tablespoon ghee.
  • Make a soft dough. I didn't use water but you you can use 1-2 table spoon of water or oil if the dough is very dry.
  • Divide the dough into small balls.
  • Make thin roti using a rolling pin.
  • Heat a flat pan and cook both the sides of the roti, until some golden brown spots appear. You can also use some ghee ( clarified butter ) or oil to cook roti.
  • Serve hot with pickle or raita.
