INGREDIENTS
2 large bunch of kale (washed, stem removed and cut into 1 inch pieces).
300gm spaghetti
1/4 cup oil ( olive oil or any vegetable oil)
4 garlic crushed
Black pepper and salt as per taste
Red pepper flakes or/and parmesan
PREPARATION
- Cook spaghetti in salted water for 8 minutes or until cooked. Save the pasta water for later.
- Cook kale in salted boiling water (can use the same water used for cooking spaghetti) for 2 minutes or till it’s tender and bright green.
- In a heavy bottom pan heat oil and add crushed garlic. Cook garlic until golden. Add kale cook until it’s dark in colour and very tender.
- Add pasta and one cup of pasta water. Cook and toss for few minutes until sauce is coated nicely on the pasta.
- Garnish with chilly flakes, pepper and parmesan. Spaghetti with kale is ready. Serve hot.
