This is a very simple recipe with just salt and black pepper for people who prefer savoury oats over sweet.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup quick oats
- 2 cups of water or milk
- 1/4 cup corn boiled
- 1/4 onions chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Butter
PREPARATION
- Cook oats with water or milk (I used water) for 2 minutes.
- Heat butter in a pan. Add onions and cook until translucent.
- Add boiled corn and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Off the flame and add this mixture on cooked oats.
- Savoury oats with corn is ready.
NOTES
- You can also add green peas, carrot or any other preferred veggie.
- Can add other spices according to liking ( I prefer salt, black pepper and butter with corn).
