INGREDIENTS
- 1 Small cauliflower head
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaf chopped
PREPARATION
- Wash and cut cauliflower head into 1-2 inch steak.
- In a pan heat oil and sear cauliflower steak both the sides.
- Once both the side is brown remove the steaks from the pan and place on a baking tray, lined with parchment paper.
- In the same pan, in the remaining oil add ginger garlic and cook until the raw smell is gone. Off the flame and add all the spices, salt and lemon juice.
- Pour this mixture on the cauliflower steaks and with the help of a spoon spread on both the sides evenly.
- Preheat oven at 400 F, bake the steaks for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with any sauce or chutney. Also goes well with roti or naan.
