INGREDIENTS
- 500gm fish cleaned and washed
- 1 big onion chopped
- 12 garlic sliced
- 2 tbs ginger paste or sliced
- 4 tbs red chilly powder dissolved in little water
- 3 cocum/ kudampuli soaked in water
- 1 spring curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 3 tbs oil

PREPARATION
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. When they start spluttering add onion and ginger. Saute for few minutes.
- Add the red chilly powder water and saute till oil seprates.
- Now, add some water, curry leaves, garlic, fish, cocum and salt. Bring to boil. Then reduce heat and cook until fish is cooked and gravy is thick.
- Serve hot with rice.

NOTES
- You can add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and 1 tsp of coriander powder.
